I am Samaneh Khosravi
Photographer and Researcher

I was born in 1984 in Iran and I relocated to Germany in 2008. I pursued studies in photography, earning Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts. As a photographer and visual researcher, have dedicated over a decade to examining the self- and external perception of women residing in Iran. Since early 2022, I have been conducting further research in this regard, with a special focus on Generation Z as part of my doctoral studies at the University of Göttingen and the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts. To support this research, I secured funding and have also been employed as a research associate since February 2022.
