In Iranian culture, the family continues to play a fundamental and significant role even today. Although the dynamics of Iranian families have changed in recent decades, the preservation of familial unity and togetherness still takes precedence. This holds true in my own family as well.

The Didar project is a long-term initiative where, over the past few years, I have taken the opportunity during each visit to capture these moments for eternity. This documentation aims to provide an impression of my very personal happy moments with my family in Iran and to illustrate the significance that family holds in Iranian society.
