Fields of Aroma

To produce rose water and rose oil, men and women in Iran head to the fields for harvest every year in May. The renowned Damask rose thrives at an altitude of 2000 meters in the mountainous landscape of Ghamsar, a city in the Isfahan province.
Rose water is a significant ingredient in certain types of marzipan and is also used to flavor other dishes, particularly in Arabic, Indian, Iranian, and French cuisine.
